Account and Data Deletion

Sign in, open Dashboard Settings, find Delete account, and type DELETE exactly as shown. The request requires a recent sign-in; if QueCargan says recent authentication is required, sign in again and repeat the request. This procedure exercises your cancellation and suppression rights under Ley N.° 8968; your identity is confirmed by the authenticated session itself.

After a valid request, QueCargan records the deletion deadline and attempts a global sign-out of your sessions. You leave the signed-in experience, and private dashboard data is treated as pending deletion until final processing.

Final processing is deliberately delayed for seven days so that an accidental or compromised request can be reversed. Before the deadline, sign in again, return to Dashboard Settings, and choose Cancel deletion to revoke the request. Once final processing has begun, cancellation may no longer be available.

After the seven-day grace period, QueCargan removes your private profile data, replaces authored Community text with a deleted-thread tombstone, and removes your account files and sign-in account. Processing may take additional time while uploads expire or temporary failures are retried. If processing cannot finish automatically, email hola@quecargan.com for help. Completion requires the deletion service to be operating; submitting a request alone does not confirm deletion.

When an account authored Community topics or replies, their public text is replaced by a deleted-thread tombstone, author attribution is removed, and account-owned Community attachment objects are removed. Thread structure, moderation categories, decision metadata, deletion receipts, limited security logs, legally required records, and rotating backups may remain for the limited period needed for moderation, security, recovery, dispute handling, or legal obligations before deletion or de-identification. Vehicle-review attribution is unlinked when the profile is successfully removed, while review content and related moderation evidence may remain as allowed or required by law.

A completed QueCargan deletion removes the QueCargan account connected to Google or Facebook; it does not delete your Google or Facebook account or the information those providers independently retain under their own policies. You can additionally revoke QueCargan's access from the connected-applications settings of the relevant provider.

If you cannot access the account or the in-product flow fails, email hola@quecargan.com with the subject "Data deletion request" from the address associated with the account. Do not send passwords or unnecessary identity documents. We may request proportionate verification, target a response within five business days, and act on valid requests within the timelines described on this page.
