Cookie and Browser Storage Policy

How QueCargan uses cookies, local storage, and similar browser technologies, and how you can control them.

Some storage is essential for sign-in and requested preferences. Disabling it can break the account and personalization features.

Last revised: September 15, 2026

What these technologies are

Cookies are small values that a website — or a provider acting on its behalf — stores through your browser. Local storage and session storage keep information on your device without a traditional cookie file. On this page, "cookies" covers all of these technologies.

Browser and storage identifiers that can be associated with you fall under the personal-data treatment described in our Privacy Policy and under Ley N.° 8968 and its Regulation. QueCargan uses these technologies only for the purposes described below; exact names and lifetimes may change when a provider or feature is updated.

Essential authentication

Supabase uses essential session cookies or equivalent storage to keep you signed in, refresh authentication, protect account routes, and complete Google or Facebook sign-in. These are technically necessary for the requested service: we cannot disable them while account features exist, and they are not used for advertising. Blocking or deleting them can sign you out, interrupt an OAuth return, or make the dashboard unavailable.

Preferences and requested features

QueCargan may use cookies or browser storage to remember language, theme, currency, compare selections, recently viewed vehicles, locale or market, and temporary form or authentication-return state. The interface also uses the `sidebar_state` cookie for up to seven days to remember whether the navigation panel is open; it contains only that preference. These values persist on your browser only to make the chosen features work and can be cleared from browser settings; clearing them can reset preferences, comparisons, recent history, or unsent drafts.

PostHog analytics

When PostHog is configured and you choose Allow analytics through the consent notice or the controls below, QueCargan records browser page views and product interactions to understand whether features work and where users encounter friction. Ingestion travels through a first-party, same-origin path, and PostHog may use first-party cookies or browser identifiers receiving the technical and interaction data described in the Privacy Policy. Declining keeps browser analytics disabled. Server-side product analytics is disabled by default and requires a separate reviewed deployment setting. This policy describes the control; it is not itself a consent signal.

Google and Meta domains

If you choose Google or Facebook sign-in, the provider may read or set cookies on its own domains to authenticate you, remember its account state, prevent abuse, or apply its preferences. Those provider-domain cookies are governed exclusively by Google's or Meta's own policies; QueCargan does not read them and has no access to your unrelated provider cookies.

Your controls

Browser settings can block, restrict, or delete cookies and site data, and privacy extensions may restrict analytics; you can also clear QueCargan local or session storage from site-data controls. Blocking essential Supabase session storage can break sign-in, security checks, account deletion, and other protected features. To ask about a specific identifier or to exercise a privacy right — access, rectification, cancellation, revocation, or opposition — email hola@quecargan.com.

Analytics preferences

Your choice is stored in this browser. Allowing analytics enables PostHog browser page-view and interaction events; declining disables future browser analytics. You can change this choice at any time.

Current setting: Not selected

Optional analytics

QueCargan uses optional PostHog analytics to understand feature usage and improve the Service. It is disabled until you choose Allow analytics. You can decline or change your choice below; essential sign-in storage is unaffected.
