Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV 2026

The Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV is the brand's flagship electric SUV: 5.13 metres long, with five or seven seats depending on configuration, sold in Costa Rica by AutoStar and presented by Mercedes-Benz Costa Rica as its electric flagship. The base 450+ uses a rear motor with 265 kW (360 hp) and 568 N·m, and the stored sheet lists 0–100 km/h in 6.2 seconds with a 210 km/h top speed; more powerful all-wheel-drive variants exist.

The stored sheet lists a 111 kWh usable (118 kWh gross) battery on the 400-volt architecture, which gives it a 790 km CLTC range. Fast charging is up to 200 kW, about 31 minutes from 10–80%, through CCS; AC charging is up to 11 kW, and 22 kW is available on some configurations. Cargo space ranges from 645 to 2,100 litres depending on how many seats are in use.

The cabin can carry the three-screen MBUX Hyperscreen, 710-watt Burmester 3D sound, AIRMATIC air suspension, up to 10 degrees of rear-axle steering, and DIGITAL LIGHT headlamps. CLTC is a laboratory reference: real range falls with speed, hills, weather, and load. The EQS SUV no longer appears in AutoStar's current line-up, and the battery changed with the 2025 update, so confirm availability, model year, battery, seat count, and exact equipment with AutoStar.
