The Mercedes-Benz EQA is the entry point to the EQ electric range in Costa Rica, sold by AutoStar. The local configuration uses 215 kW (292 hp) and 520 N·m with all-wheel drive, reaching 100 km/h in about 6.0 seconds with a 160 km/h top speed. The 66.5 kWh usable battery gives it a 504 km CLTC range. Fast charging is up to 100 kW, about 32 minutes from 10–80%, through CCS, and AC charging is 11 kW. The cabin uses the MBUX system with a widescreen dashboard, wireless charging, a 360-degree camera, and a panoramic sunroof.
Euro NCAP awarded the EQA five stars in 2021. CLTC is a laboratory reference: real range falls with speed, hills, weather, and load. The brand's local page showed two different range figures, and the EQA no longer appears in AutoStar's current line-up; an imported EQA 260 is a different, Chinese-built version, so confirm availability, the exact version, battery, and equipment with AutoStar.
