The BYD Seal is the car that answers the question every EV skeptic asks: dual motors, all-wheel drive, and 523 hp deliver 0–100 km/h in 3.8 seconds — genuine supercar pace in a five-seat sedan last listed in Costa Rica at $59,990.

This is the driver's car of the BYD range. The low, wide sedan stance, a ventilated and heated driver seat with memory, a rotating 15.6-inch central screen, and a 12-speaker audio system make it as much grand tourer as sports sedan. All-wheel drive helps put the power down, but does not eliminate grip limits on rain-soaked mountain roads.
The 82.56 kWh Blade battery is rated at 520 km on the WLTP cycle — a laboratory reference for planning longer trips; actual distance depends on route and conditions. When you do charge on the road, 150 kW DC capability keeps stops short, and overnight home charging on 6.6 kW refills daily use without thought. Note that local units use the GB/T charging standard, so confirm compatibility with the public networks you'll use.
