The 45 kWh Blade Battery provides 401 km of CLTC range, a laboratory figure. Its 130 kW, 174 hp motor delivers 290 Nm, accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 7.9 seconds and reaches 160 km/h. Rapid charging at up to 65 kW takes the battery from 10% to 80% in 30 minutes, enough time for a rest during a journey towards Puerto Viejo before continuing.
With five seats, the boot holds 265 litres and expands to 1,210 litres with the backrests folded; wireless phone charging and a 12.8-inch display complete the everyday equipment. At 4,310 mm long with 215 mm of ground clearance, it combines urban-friendly dimensions with room to clear uneven entrances. The GS is aimed at drivers who travel regularly with family and want the GL’s performance, but place particular value on the panoramic roof and an additional layer of assistance on longer Costa Rican journeys.
